Our Story

The idea for The Paddy Shack started right here in Billings—but it truly came to life while we were living in Austin, Texas. Austin showed us what’s possible when a space is intentionally designed to bring people together. After having kids, we found ourselves searching for a place where we could meet up with friends, stay active, and get our kids out of the house doing something fun and healthy. We had a place like this just minutes down the road from our house and we spent many weekends there with our friends and the kids. What we discovered was more than a business concept—it was a lifestyle built around connection.

What we loved most was how these mixed-use gathering spaces welcomed everyone. Young adults, young families, grown families, and grandparents all shared the same space—playing, relaxing, laughing, and spending meaningful time with the people they love. It reinforced something we’ve always believed: healthy communities start with connection. We’ve long been the kind of family that hosts gatherings, brings people together, and believes life is better when it’s shared—and we wanted to bring that same mindset home to Billings.

We're a local family and parents who genuinely love building community. The Paddy Shack is our way of pouring that passion into a place that serves Billings in a meaningful way. We can’t wait to see the joy on people’s faces as they walk through the doors, meet up with friends, make memories with their kids, and feel a deeper sense of belonging in a community that truly deserves a place like this.
